DS, 1788 September 18. : Boston. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Appointment of Aaron Wood.

Appoints Aaron Wood as a Justice of the Peace for Essex County for seven years. Also signed by John Avery as Secretary. On verso is a DS, 1789 March 2, Council Chambers, Boston, signed by Samuel Adams stating that Wood had taken the oath of office.
